Lactation Consultant
About me

My Philosophy
My philosophy is that breastfeeding is a shared experience that all women should be able to have. Mothers who decide to breastfeed should have abundant informed support. I feel that with loving assistance, every mom should be made to feel successful no matter what her choices are.
“Having you there when the twins were born with all the NICU and ICU stays, a tongue-tie, and all the rest was awesome. Just knowing I could call and you would know what to do was amazing!” Jennifer C.
"You have done so much for my daughter and grandchildren." Amy H.
My Story
I am a state-licensed and internationally board-certified lactation consultant. I have been helping mothers meet their breastfeeding goals for 25 years.
I believe that each breastfeeding experience is special. Each mother-baby pair presents its own unique bonding opportunity.
I began my journey to becoming a lactation consultant with the birth of my 3rd child. I had easily nursed 2 previous children but this one was different. In my search to find an answer, I met an amazing lactation consultant who changed the course of my life and helped me find my passion.
I have worked in a pediatric setting and community education, and am now conducting home visits. I have experience working with numerous different populations, including supporting mothers who are breastfeeding multiples, babies with Down syndrome, medically fragile infants, babies with clefts, and preemies.
